Biography: Kerri Mezzomo-Badinski

Kerri Mezzomo is a dancer, teacher, choreographer, adjudicator and a member of Canadian Dance Masters of America, Chapter # 38. She is also on the jazz committee for the Performing Arts Educators of Canada (P.A.E.C.) where for the past four years she has worked with others to create the P.A.E.C. jazz syllabus.

Ms. Mezzomo has put many students and student teachers through exams with C.D.T.A. and P.A.E.C. Across Canada she is in demand for teaching workshops, audition classes, adjudicating and as a choreographer for which she has won many awards. Kerri is presently the Dance Coordinator as well as a teacher and choreographer at Studio P.A.V.A.S. in Mississauga, Ontario. Ms. Mezzomo has trained extensively in ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, hip hop, and musical theatre.

Training for Kerri includes Kiana School of Dance Arts, Edge Performing Arts Center (Los Angeles), Broadway Dance Center (New York), Quinte Ballet School, and the National Ballet School of Canada, and with numerous internationally known choreographers. Kerri was honoured to perform as a guest soloist throughout the former Soviet Union, at the World’s Fair in Spain, the U.S.A., Canada and on television for Bravo!. She has also won many national titles and championships as a competitive dancer and soloist. Kerri now enjoys sharing her love of dance with her students who have won numerous scholarships, overall awards, and titles throughout North America. In addition to dancers, Ms. Mezzomo has also worked with national level competitive figure skaters. Many of her students have gone on to professional careers in theatre, on cruise ships, and with professional dance companies in North America and Europe.
