Biography: Tom Casey

Currently a company member of Louise Bedard Dance, Tom has had a vibrant career as a Modern dancer across Canada. He has worked with such acclaimed choreographers and companies such as; Sinha Danse, Artistic Director: Roger Sinha, Montanaro Danse, Artistic Director: Michael Montanaro., Fondation Jean-Pierre Perreault, Kaeja d’Dance and Winnipeg’s Contemporary Dancers, Artistic Director: Tom Stroud

Some of his special projects highlights are; Le Chemin Qui Marche, choreography, Harole Rehaume. Dufour Productions, 400th Anniversary, Quebec City, Gala De Rideaux, with Alexandre Desilets (2008) The Ring, Research and development with Robert Lepage. Tom has also done research and creation for Cirque du Soleil.

Tom was the recipient for the Dora Mavor Award for most outstanding dance performance in 2004. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Tom is thrilled to be adjudicating for the first time, a festival that he once was a participant!
