Dance Manitoba is once again very excited to celebrate the Provincial Dance Festival, which has grown from a one-day program to a fourteen-day event, held annually in May, featuring performances by more than 1,600 dancers from all over Manitoba.

The Festival gives its participants the opportunity to assess achievements, and to share ideas and aspirations. The Provincial Dance Festival is a high-profile, non-competitive event that affords its participants opportunities for learning through adjudicators’ critiques, workshops and master classes, as well as the chance to meet with other dancers and the experience of working in a professional theatre with a professional crew. Through these elements, the Festival provides opportunities for dancers and teachers to develop technically and artistically.
