Dance Manitoba Membership

As a member of Dance Manitoba you become part of an organization dedicated to the development of dance and dance education in our province. You will be kept abridged of news within the dance community through your subscription to our bi-monthly newsletter Footlights, included with your membership fees. Members are encouraged to submit information on upcoming events for inclusion in the Dance Calendar, printed with every newsletter and listed on this website. Submission of information for articles on member news, including but not limited to, awards and recognition of accomplishments, employment and training opportunities and topics of general interest to the dance community are encouraged.

All members also receive a complimentary copy of The Provincial Dance Directory which is a comprehensive listing of individuals, schools, companies, ensembles, associations, suppliers and funders involved in or supporting Manitoba’s dance community. Published bi-annually, members not only receive a copy, but only current members will be included in the registry under the Individual and Schools categories free of charge. All others will be assessed an administration fee in order to be included.

• Discounts on tickets to the Members’ Showcase and the Festival Gala
• Advance notice of Dance Manitoba workshops and Festival updates

All memberships are valid for the performance season in which they are acquired. Memberships expire November 30th, annually. To apply for a membership please print off the MEMBERSHIP FORM and mail to Dance Manitoba with your membership fees.
